About Bishnu Jyoti Janakalyan Samity

"Bishnu Jyoti Janakalyan Samity" was established on 2nd of March 2001 with aim to serve the rural poor by establishing linkages to mainstream banks for financial services intermediation through creation of SHGs, and promoting unemployed youths to take up income generating activities by creation of micro enterprises on various trades through entrepreneurship trainings.

Our Objectives

  • Promote financial discipline amongst villagers by creation of Self-Help Groups
  • Linking SHG's to mainstream banks
  • Providing entrepreneurship & skill development trainings to unemployed youths and village artisans
  • Provide basic financial services to villagers and urban poor through microfinance intervention
  • Provide immediate relief response at times natural disasters like floods and earthquakes
  • Work for rehabilitation of displaced after natural calamities
  • Protecting environment by plantation and awareness generation
